MA, LMHCA
I am passionate about supporting individuals and families who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional stressors. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and affirming space for those who may feel misunderstood, overlooked, or marginalized, while helping clients move toward healing, growth, and emotional wellness.
Throughout my clinical career, I have had the opportunity to work with diverse populations across community mental health, educational, and in-home settings. My experience includes supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating complex mental health challenges, trauma histories, co-occurring substance use disorders, autism spectrum conditions, and involvement with court and child welfare systems. I also have experience working with LGBTQ+ and transgender clients, women of color, underserved communities, and at-risk youth and families.
As both a clinician and person of color, I value creating culturally responsive and inclusive therapeutic relationships where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy should honor each client’s lived experiences, identity, strengths, and personal goals.
My clinical approach is integrative, collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I practice from an integrated therapeutic perspective because I recognize that healing is unique for every individual seeking mental health therapy. I tailor treatment approaches to meet each client’s specific needs while incorporating evidence-based interventions that foster resilience, insight, coping skills, and emotional growth.
My therapeutic work draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed care principles. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working together to create meaningful and sustainable change.
Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, I have a deep appreciation for serving the local community and supporting individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy attending sporting events, concerts, traveling, exploring new restaurants, community engagement, and spending quality time with family and loved ones.
