Sarah Bellamy

MSW, LICSW

My ideal client is someone who is motivated and ready to work. I am seeking individuals who embrace therapy with an open mind and an open heart, whoare willing to try new things, challenge oneself, embrace different ways of thinking and living, and are consistent with “doing the work”. I work well with individuals who are curious about themselves, reflective, and open to change. Relationship is important to me so I seek to work with folks who are honest and engaged in the process of growth and in building a trusting, caring dynamic. Folks who feels overly anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or generally rundown and unwell would do well working alongside me as we heal from the past, set intentions for the future, and learn to embrace the present. I enjoy helping folks learn about themselves at a deeper level, understand their values and passions, and evoke the change they need in lifestyle and habits to live a life of health and wellness.

When it comes to wellness, it takes creative energy to find a system that works for you and then to work that system. I am passionate about helping support folks in learning how to live their best lives and in finding their unique system. I provide a safe space to process and understand the past and how it played a role in shaping values, beliefs, and habits and to work through the challenges and triumphs that come with change and embracing new ways of thinking, feeling, and living. I am here as a compassionate guide to help individuals tend to their whole self— mind, body, and spirit. I use a holistic, personable, solutions-focused approach to help move past barriers, heal trauma, and create a healthy lifestyle and a life worth living. I am passionate about meeting folks where they are at to embrace prioritizing self-care, stress management, qualitysleep, healthy relationships, beneficial eating habits, physical activity and overall life enjoyment.

Each of us has value, worth, and wisdom within us— sometimes we just need help in uncovering it. Together we will work on understanding the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and learn how to make shifts in awareness and action to develop different ways of handling situations both within yourself and with others. My goal as your clinician is to make you feel heard, understood, and valued. I seek to provide a safe space, honest feedback and support, and authentic relatability and compassion. I take great pride and care in being a part of your journey and I look forward to walking alongside you as you discover what it is you seek.

“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.” -ALAN WATTS.

Let me helpyou learn how to dance in the rain rather than wait for the storm to pass. Let’sfind your flow, build momentum, and then send you off dancing to the beat of your own drum.
