These adult art therapy groups are aimed at providing a safe trauma-informed container for exploring emotional expression through the arts, providing you with an alternative outlet alongside fellow community members. Participants will be guided through various individual and group art activities that are aimed at stress reduction, skill building, and self-expression. Activities will include painting, clay sculpture, and resin jewelry making.
All groups will be led by Crystal Chen, a board-certified and licensed mental health counselor and art therapist. Crystal boasts over 6 years of experience work and is specialized in using evidence-based theories combined with the arts in order to support clients in exploring and processing their past traumas and building skills towards healing and greater confidence in self.
