LMFTA
I know that therapy is an extremely vulnerable place to be, so I approach therapy with the utmost care for those who walk into my therapy room. I believe that the mind and body are intimately connected, and that the body can hold memories that the brain cannot. For this reason, I like to use Experiential Therapy, augmented by my background in yoga and meditation, to holistically collaborate with my clients to bring healing to the whole person through a combination of embodiment and talk therapy.
I have experience living with disordered eating, trauma, and ADHD, and this means I know what it feels like to be in the chair my clients are sitting in. I seek to be a quiet place of rest for all who walk through my doors, a place where every person can be uniquely and unapologetically themself because I will accept them for exactly who they are. What I want most for my clients is for them to be embodied, empowered, to make progress in their healing journey, and to be able to move their lives (and bodies) in the direction they hope for.
