Hi Y’all! I’m Moriah, an associate licensed therapist, and I'm excited to begin this journey with you. Becoming a therapist has been my dream for a long time, and now I’m here to help you navigate your path toward a more authentic, whole version of yourself.
In our work together, my goal is to guide you in embracing all parts of yourself—especially those parts you may have hidden or pushed away. Using self-compassion, I’ll help you heal the areas you may feel are unlovable or unacceptable. Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we’ll work together to identify the changes you want to make and develop a clear, collaborative plan to help you achieve your goals.
I have been told by clients and people alike that I have a warm, inviting presence. Clients have commented that they feel completely unjudged when they work with me and quickly feel comfortable sharing. If you’ve never been to therapy before, I may be a good fit for you.
I understand firsthand what it's like to navigate the challenges of life. I have lived experiences of ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and depression. As a recovering perfectionist and people-pleaser, I know the weight of trying to meet others' expectations while losing sight of your own needs. That said, I understand that your experiences are uniquely yours. Your story matters, and my role is to hold space for you, focusing on what you need, not just what I’ve been through. I’m here to listen, to empathize, and to walk beside you as we work toward healing and growth. I would be honored to support you on this journey.
